Magnetizing Leman Russ Plastic Tank

I got this Leman Russ tank in a trade and figured my nephew could use it for his IG army. The kit comes with three barrels for the top turret - normally you pick one and glue it in.

Any time I have more than one option for a vehicle weapon I like to magnetize the pieces. This way you can experiment with different loadouts without having to proxy or break apart pieces.

Here's some shots of where to place the magnets. Apologies for the glue smearing - I received an already assembled tank that had to be broken apart...with love.

Turret Mount
Turret Pivot 1
Turret Pivot 2
Guns

Assembly is easy - attach the gun to the pivot, then the pivot to the turret. Normally you have to glue all three pieces together, but this should allow you some customization.

Warham Painting Project Blog is A Go!

I wanted to start a blog showcasing my dorky warham hobby. For the uninitiated, warham refers to the futuristic tabletop game Warhammer 40K. In the grim darkness of the far future, there are only overpriced plastic soldiers and severe hobby knife injuries. Looking forward to posting pictures of my painting progress, conversions, and army thoughts.
